You have to remove the old broken plastic hinges, break them off or use a Dremel.
I suggest to drill 6 mm holes for mounting these hinges, this gives you some margin to center the dust cover.

Wel heel voorzichtig zijn met installeren het is moeilijker dan het lijkt
Beste en mooiste oplossing voor het repareren van de stofkap. Ziet er luxe uit en is stevig. De oude lipjes even afslijpen, dit is goed zelf te doen met bijvoorbeeld een Multitool. Aanrader dus!
The hinges are of the highest quality in terms of fit and design, not cheap sheet metal but good steel with countersunk screw holes. We also cut a piece of 1.5mm smooth rubber mat to fit the hinge pad for some hoods so that we don't end up with constricting grooves and cracks in the acrylic. The hoods are usually warped and have support ribs for the old original acrylic hinges. Visible blind spots are created when milling. The rubber pad, which is cut a little larger, covers these up. Our customers really appreciate this.
Goede materialen past perfect
Het is een super uitkomst als de stofkaplippen zijn afgebroken. Het is een mooi complete set van hoge kwaliteit, gepoedercoat staal met achterplaat en 4 schroefjes. Een betere en goedkopere manier is er niet te vinden.
